Museum Docent / Volunteer Interpreter ApplicationIf you are interested in learning more about Native American cultures of the Southwest and sharing your knowledge with the public, the Arizona State Museum Docent Program is for you! You will learn how to interpret the cultural heritage of the American Southwest during 32 hours of stimulating classroom instruction with like-minded volunteers. Once you are comfortable, practiced and confident, you will lead tours through ASM exhibits, assist, and inspire museum visitors. MEET new people with similar interests! LEARN more about the Southwest from EXPERTS! SHARE your enthusiasm with the public! Registration is limited to 30 volunteers. The Fall, 2009 Docent Class is now full; however, please submit your application for classes in 2010 to reserve your spot!
