Total Cost:

$1650 ASM members
($400 tax-deductible)

$1750 non-members
($500 tax-deductible)

Prices are based on double occupancy rooming. If you are traveling alone, you will be paired with a fellow, same-gender traveler. Single occupancy is available for an additional $400.

A 50% deposit ensures your reservation. Full payment is due no later than July 29, 2012 (60 days prior to departure date).*

Fees include accommodations, transportation, entry fees, permits, breakfasts where specified, lunches where specified, guide fees, gratuities, taxes, etc. The remainder is a tax-deductible contribution to Arizona State Museum.

Space is limited, early reservations are recommended. Don’t hesitate to check after the deadline as there may be cancellations.

Where to Meet and How to Get There

Your learning expedition begins at Arizona State Museum.

Please let us know when and where to expect you according to the following:

Option 1: Roundtrip in and out of Tucson International Airport, arriving Friday night. We suggest that you stay (at your expense, not part of the trip package) at either the Marriott University Park Hotel at 880 E. 2nd Street (800-228-9290), or Peppertrees Bed & Breakfast at 724 E. University Boulevard (520-622-7167; www.peppertreesinn.com) because they are walking distance to the museum. They are also close to other nearby attractions, should you find time on Saturday morning: Arizona Historical Society, UA Museum of Art, Center for Creative Photography, Postal History Museum.

Transportation to your hotel from the Tucson airport can be arranged with the Arizona Stagecoach (520-889-1000, apprx. $23) or any local taxi service.

Option 2: Roundtrip in and out of Tucson International Airport, arriving Saturday morning. If requested, we will pick you up at the Tucson airport on Saturday morning, otherwise you may have the Arizona Stagecoach (520-889-1000, apprx. $23) or any local taxi service bring you to the museum by 1:30 p.m.

Option 3: Roundtrip in and out of Phoenix Skyharbor Airport, taking airport shuttle to Tucson. In this option, you have a round trip in and out of Phoenix Skyharbor Airport and take the Arizona Shuttle (520-795-6771; runs hourly, apprx. $35) to Tucson. The nearest shuttle drop off point on campus is at 6th Street and Park Avenue. If you arrive Friday, you could stay at either the Marriott University Park Hotel at 880 E. 2nd Street (800-228-9290), or Peppertrees Bed & Breakfast at 724 E. University Boulevard (520-622-7167; www.peppertreesinn.com). Both are walking distance to the museum and convenient to other nearby attractions: Arizona Historical Society, UA Museum of Art, Center for Creative Photography, Postal History Museum.
