GIVING THE GIFT OF CULTURAL STEWARDSHIP

Despite a century of dedicated stewardship and collections care, only substantial renovation could create the kind of environmentally controlled storage facility needed to preserve and protect these irreplaceable pieces of our past.

ASM reached, and surpassed, its $2.5M fund-raising goal for the construction apect of The Pottery Project thanks to support from Arizona's tribal communities, the City of Tucson, federal agencies, and private donors.

Recent Progress Reports

You can help preserve the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of Southwest Indian pottery through our Save a Pot Project! Your annual gift of $50 will go directly to the conservation efforts of one specific vessel. You will receive a certificate with a photo and a condition report on the vessel whose future you secured.

ASM also continues to raise money to strengthen the endowment fund established by an NEH Challenge Grant for public programs, exhibitions, and education. This endowment fund has the potential to transform what the museum is able to offer the public and students of all ages, but much more is still needed.

Your contribution, at any level, will help us achieve the full vision of The Pottery Project.
