The Pottery Project: Resources for Teachers & Parents
Introduction
These resources are wonderful accompaniments to our fieldtrip program American Indian Pottery: Continuity and Tradition.
In 2008 we opened the The Pottery Project gallery adjacent to the new state-of-the-art conservation lab and climate-controlled pottery vault. These resource pages, originally created for use with The Pottery Detectives exhibition, will now enhance your visit to this permanent exhibition of our premiere pottery collection.
The following pages provide information designed to prepare teachers and students
for a visit, and include suggestions for pre-visit lessons, vocabulary, a
bibliography, online resources and post-visit lesson ideas.
