Nogales Wash Complex: El Macayo

EL MACAYO (AZ EE:9:107[ASM])

The El Macayo site, also known as the Oliver Site, is located on a gentle grassy slope to the west of Nogales Wash and north of Mariposa Canyon at an elevation of 3,000 ft above sea level. The work discussed here focused on the western edge of the site area, which was to be disturbed by the construction of an athletic complex.
