St. Francis’s Feast Celebration

The drumbeats and I danced around the fire with my
Family. We can hear the thunder in the sky.
I walk the rough bark on an oak tree trunk.
A man started to sing and everyone said “shh.”

The rain started to fall but we don’t care, so we kept
On dancing around the fire.
With my mother, brother, sister, and dad. When we
Wipe are faces it feels smooth like a velvet rug.

I dance around the fie with my family as we hear the
Man singing. He sings pretty songs.
The man playing the drum stops playing and makes
An announcement.

He say’s “the rain has fallen too much there are many
Puddle’s so let’s continue tomorrow early in the morning.”
So we left home and went to sleep.
