Kletha Valley Days

In the title, Kletha Valley Days,
I hear the emotions, which are so loud
It takes them to a deep dark nightmare.

The way the young lady, sitting on the quiet lonely bed,
Looking and staring out that window, down a different road,
Wondering how life might be down that road.

The way I can feel the cold air, in the room, drifting out the window,
Guiding them where they belong.
It’s as if they get there and the cold air will
Suddenly, turn warm; they’ll know every-
Thing is okay.

The bars on the base of the bed, you can feel, how trapped they are.
The loneliness.

They want to go down the road
And never come back to the dark
Place.
