Artist Photos
In an effort to further document the Avery Collection, ASM Staff Photographer
Jannelle Weakly and Ethnological Collections Curator Diane Dittemore attended the
Santa Fe Indian Market in August of 2002. They searched out artists whose paintings
are represented in the Avery collection and found 10 to photograph. Most of the
photographs shown here were taken at the Indian Market. Some of the photographs
were taken while the artists were participating in the "Paintings and Stories"
visiting artist series which took place during the Connections Accross Generations
exhibition. |
