The Judge's Choice Awards are designed to bring recognition to a work that each juror, independently, feels is outstanding. These pieces may have been overlooked due to the limited number of awards or because they fell outside other award categories.
Juror's Comments:
Larry King: There is a nice contemporary feel to this piece; I like the artist's control. The reduction-fired micaceous pottery in dark black form caught my eye and is an exciting technique. It's a great medium to see.
