Jurors' Comments:
Rex Arrowsmith: I preferred the Hopi quill basket because of all the various representations of corn dancers, rain dancers and other traditional Hopi elements. It's a miniature, but done in the traditional way, with traditional dyes. It's a great little miniature basket.
David Johns: I selected this because it's very beautiful, very intricate, very detailed, and very local.
Larry King: Excellent handling of horse hair representing a squash blossom—shows excellence in the medium.
