Juror's Comments:
H. Lomawaima: This piece exhibits all aspects of "Ga' an"—directional colors, crescent moon, headdress with water bird and dance wands. The piece connotes a sense of strength and authority. From every angle and vantage point, "Apache Mountain Spirit" has great presence, just like the "Ga' an."
