The Judge's Choice Awards are designed to bring recognition to a work that each judge, independently, feels is outstanding. These pieces may have been overlooked due to the limited number of awards or because they fell outside other award categories.

Juror's Comments:
Shonto: I admired this piece all afternoon, especially because of the intricate carving on its own base paying homage to its roots and its attachment to the earth. A fine piece of carving.
