The 2014 Southwest Indian Art Fair is set for February 22 and 23! Artist information will be available in the summer. Information for visitors will begin to be updated later this year.
We recommend that you park in either the Main Gate Garage or the Tyndall Garage, both of which are free on the weekend. The easiest access to both garages is from Euclid Ave. To get to Euclid from I-10, use Exit 257; take Speedway Blvd. east to Euclid Ave. and turn right.
The garages are a short, 5 to 10 minute walk to the fair grounds. For those who need or would like a lift, we are partnering with University Pedicabs to provide shuttle transportation from the Main Gate and Tyndall garages to the fair grounds and back.
One pedicab will serve each garage. Pedicabs hold 2 to 3 people.
Pedicabs will circulate between the garages and the fair grounds continuously 9–5 Saturday and 10–4 Sunday. Service will be approximately every 10 minutes at each location.
Please give priority to handicapped visitors. A smaller folding wheelchair or a walker can be accomodated in the pedicab along with 2 people.
Pickup from the Main Gate Garage will be at the 2nd Street entrance on the south side of the garage.
Pickup from the Tyndall Garage will be at the Tyndall Avenue entrance on the east side of the garage.
Dropoff and pickup at the fair grounds will be at the entrance/exit to the fair.
University Pedicabs is supporting SWIAF by offerring this service without a fee. Tips are gratefully accepted. Please show your driver you appreciate his or her support for the event.
