Jewelry Trading Days

Unsold jewelry from Jewelry Trading Days can be picked up by owners beginning on March 26 and running through April 2.  Come to Mark Cattanach, Museum Registrar's office, room 206, any time 9 a.m. –12 noon and 1–4 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you are not able to pick up your jewelry until after  the 2nd, please call Diane Dittemore (520-621-2079) or Mark (520-626-8742) to arrange a time.

All events take place at Arizona State Museum, 1013 E University Blvd, at Park Ave. Only high quality, authentic Southwest Indian jewelry, please. Pieces will NOT be appraised by Arizona State Museum curators. Objects depicted are actual items for sale on March 15!

Consignment Details

  • Consignments will be taken on Feb. 29, Mar. 1*, 3, and 4 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at Arizona State Museum. If you find you are unable to bring items on the days specified we will try to accommodate you. No consignments accepted the day of the sale.
  • Please be aware that you cannot park in front of the museum when you bring in your items. See Detailed Directions and Map for more information about parking.
  • All items must be quality, Native American made.
  • Before bringing in your items, print the Vendor FormOpens in a new window (PDF **) and fill it in. Print additional copies if you need more than one page. You can view the sample formOpens in a new window (PDF **)—with sample information filled out in red—as a guideline for filling out your own form. Keep a copy for yourself and bring one copy of all pages with you when you bring in your items.
  • Before bringing in your items, they must be securely tagged (a sticky tag is preferable as string tags get tangled easily) with the lowest selling price you will accept.
  • In addition to the price, the tag on each piece must include your, the consignor’s, LETTER CODE.
  • To receive your LETTER CODE or for questions and additional information, contact Paddy Schwartz by email or at 520-615-2245.
  • All items will remain at Arizona State Museum until the day of the sale.
  • All items will be sold at a 70/30% ratio. You, the consignor, receive 70% and Arizona State Museum receives 30% as your tax deductible gift.
