Painted manta (blanket) of handspun cotton

PAINTED MANTA

Location: Hidden House, Sycamore Canyon, AZ
Materials: cotton, black pigment

This large (149 cm x 164.5 cm), balanced plain weave manta (blanket) is made from handspun cotton and painted with a black pigment, as yet unidentified, in a Flagstaff Black-on-white style design.
