NAVAJO TURQUOISE AND SILVER BRACELETS Dates: 1880s-1960s Navajos made bracelets of copper and brass wire as early as the mid-1880s. Silver bracelets date back at least to the Bosque Redondo period (of the 1860s). Silversmiths began to set turquoise and other gems on bracelets about 1880. |
