Eathwatch Challenge Grant Team Member BiographiesTravis Warner
I live in New York. I am going to be a junior next year in high school. I am very interested in music and hope to perform and teach for a living. Earthwatch interested me because I have always enjoyed science and would like to be exposed to science in the field before I decide to follow music. I enjoy seeking an understanding of how people once lived and exploring it physically, such as at the archaeological sites; the archaeology here in Winslow provides that opportunity for me. I am able to find ruins of a civilization and then learn about the culture in my free time from the resources given to us at the dormitory. I enjoy cooking and crafts and find it very fun to learn about the culture variations the Hopi have lived throughout their generations. |
