Who we are

The Homol'ovi Research Program

Started in 1985 to facilitate the excavation and preservation of the pueblos of the area, the Homol'ovi Research Program, or HRP, is part of the Archaeology Department of the Research Divison of the Arizona State Museum. The project is directed by the museum's curator and U of A professor Dr. E. Charles Adams. He is assisted by Associate Director Richard C. Lange, an archaeological research specialist at the museum.
