Where We WereOur expedition was based in Winslow, Arizona, a town of around 10,000 people, about an hour and a half outside of Flagstaff. We stayed in a dormitory complex utilized during the school year by the Navajo for students from the reservation. From Winslow, it was about twenty minutes north to the Homol'ovi State Park, where we were building our structure, and forty-five minutes east to the Chevelon site.
