Photos of Naomi Lerman

Name: Naomi Lerman

Age: 17

From: Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Glendale, Wisconsin

Bio: Archaeology has interested me since my visit to the Judean Desert seven years ago, where I found some intriguing clay sherds. I enjoy biking, writing, rock climbing, politics, camping, learning about the world, stenciling and music. I major in Jazz Guitar at my arts high school, but I don't limit my understanding on other peculiar instruments. I love being involved in my community, which has lead me to facilitate The Other America Tour. This is a youth group sponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union designed for youth to combat intolerance. I also volunteer and will hopefully have a job soon at the Urban Ecology Center, which is a Nature and Science Learning atmosphere made from all recycled materials. OH! I am a crazy vegan, but will never force my beliefs on anyone. Do not fret.
