Gallery/Store Hours: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (the museum store is closed from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.).

Closed on Sundays; federal and state holidays.

No backpacks, satchels, food or drinks are allowed in the exhibition galleries. All items are subject to search.

Admission: Donations requested.

Library Hours: ASM's library, a specialized Southwest research resource, is located on the second floor of the north building. The library is open to the public on a non-circulating basis Monday to Thursday 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Appointments required for use during non-public hours Monday to Thursday. Closed state and national holidays.

Directions to the Museum: Arizona State Museum is located in two historic buildings on the University of Arizona campus, just east of the main gate at University Boulevard and Park Avenue in Tucson.

From the I-10 frontage road** take Speedway Blvd. east to Euclid Ave. Turn south on Euclid and proceed to the parking facilities indicated on the map.

** Please see the ADOT websiteOpens in a new window for up-to-the-minute information about I-10 exit closures, including the Speedway exit, from Prince Road to 29th Street. These closures are in effect until 2010.

Parking Information: Convenient parking is available just one block from the museum at Tyndall and Second (uncovered lot). Additional parking is available Euclid and Second (covered garage) or Tyndall and Fourth (covered garage). See the map above. There is a small fee for parking on weekdays. Parking is free on weekends in the garages and on the street (the uncovered lot at Tyndall and Second does charge on weekends).

Bus Information: The SunTran Route #1 bus has the closest stop to the museum: on Park Ave. at University Blvd. For more info visit the SunTran websiteOpens in a new window.
