Detailed Directions and Map to Arizona State Museum

Location

Arizona State Museum is located on the University of Arizona campus, just NE of the Main Gate at Park Avenue and University Boulevard in Tucson. The street address is 1013 E University Boulevard (zip code is 85721).

Driving Directions to Parking Areas

From Interstate-10, take the Speedway Blvd./University of Arizona exit. Head east on Speedway Blvd. to Euclid Ave. Turn south (right) onto Euclid Ave. You will see a five story parking garage to your left, at First St. This is the Main Gate Garage and you may park here for a small fee on weekdays (free on weekends). Or you may proceed south on Euclid Ave. to Fourth St. The parking garage at Fourth St. is also on your left. You may park here for a small fee on weekdays (free on weekends).

An additional, uncovered pay lot is located at Tyndall Ave and Second St. (free on weekends).

From these garages and the lot, Arizona State Museum is just about one block to the east (see map below).

Motorcycles may park in metered spaces along University Boulevard or North Campus Drive on a first come, first served basis. Motorcycles may also find paid parking in a specially designated area on the first floor of the Main Gate Garage at Euclid Avenue and Second Street. Enter off of Second Street. Be sure to notify the attendant you have parked.

RVs will not find parking near Arizona State Museum. RVs will not fit in the parking garages.

Public Transportation

SunTran's #1 bus route offers the closest stop at Park Ave. at University Blvd. For more information visit the SunTran website.
The Fourth Avenue Trolley operates Friday 6–10 p.m., Saturday noon–midnight, and Sunday noon–6 p.m. For more information visit the trolley page on the 4th Avenue website.
